FRANCE PARK IS NOW OPEN FOR THE SEASON. THERE WILL BE A DIVE MASTER ON SHORE TO OVERSEE CERTIFIED DIVERS. INSTRUCTORS WHO TAKE STUDENTS HAVE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR STUDENTS AND ALSO MUST HAVE FRANCE PARK AND DIVING DEN AS ADDITIONAL INSURED ON THEIR INSURANCE POLICY.
SO JOIN A SPECIALTY CLASS THIS SUMMER AT YOUR LOCAL DIVE SHOP AND ASK THEM TO TAKE YOU TO FRANCE PARK FOR YOUR TRAINING DIVES. THE 2008 DIVE SEASON AT FRANCE PARK IS HERE ON WEEK-ENDS, 9 AM TO 5 PM. NIGHT DIVES THIS MONTH ARE JULY 9 & 23, 7:30 PM.
WATER CONDITIONS:
As of July 15, water temp was 75º with 20 ft. of visibility. The surface temperature is about 83 degrees. Divers are still reporting sightings of paddlefish, but they're harder to see when the water is cloudy. A navigation specialty class is a good one to pursue at this time, or many other specialties can be done at France Park, depending on your interests.

The visibility at the quarry was greatly reduced the last few weeks, but has started to clear now. We are having vis of 20 ft. now. Please call 765-452-1034 or email to divingden@comcast.net. All divers need to sign releases and pay the dive fee of $10.00 plus the France Park gate fee of $1.50.

Beginning classes will be at the Diving Den and YMCA or Dream Center pool. We are forming a class to start on Aug. 4, 5 & 7, 5:30 to 10:00 pm. And another session will be Aug. 12, 13 & 14, 5:30 to 10:00 pm. Also, classes can be planned for daytime hours.
