TOM & LINDA
Tom Stough started diving with the Kokomo Fathom Masters in
1967. The dive club started classes to certify divers and Tom
took the class and was certified in 1971. Tom and Linda bought
the Diving Den from Denny Grishaw in 1973 and provided air
fills, classes & equipment for divers working from their garage.
The instructor was Gary Gulley. Linda became certified to dive
in 1974 and was better able to understand the dive business. In
1977, Tom took his P.A.D.I. Instructor training at I.S.U. That
same year, the property on east Markland Ave. became available
and the Stough’s made the move. Linda took her instructor
training in 1978 with the YMCA program. She later crossed over
to P.A.D.I. Tom and Linda both are P.A.D.I. Master Instructors.
They can train divers through dive master and can teach more
than 20 specialty certifications.

Sheila Price—
Instructor
After a vacation to the Hawaiian Island of Maui, Sheila began
diving in 1994. She became an Open Water Scuba Instructor in
1997, and received her Master Scuba Diver Trainer certification
in 2000. In February 2001, Sheila became a volunteer diver at
the Indianapolis Zoo where she continues to dive the Waters
Biome each week in the Shark, Caribbean Reef, Indo-Pacific Reef,
Amazon River,and Caiman exhibit tanks.
Sheila continues to learn as much as she can about life in the
underwater world. She loves to share her knowledge and
enthusiasm through teaching classes, and by using her underwater
video skills to share the magic of the sub-aquatic realm with
others. Sheila would like to venture back to the Pacific
Northwest for more diving in the abundant and rich waters along
Vancouver Island.
Bill Menges -
Instructor
Bill first began scuba diving in 1967. After a 25 year surface
interval, as he likes to refer to it, he was recertified in
1997. Bill ventured into the professional level of diving in
2000, when he received his Open Water Scuba Instructor
certification. Taking his career another stop forward,Bill
earned his Master Scuba Diver Trainer certification in 2001.
Bill enjoys teaching new divers, and the opportunity to show
divers more diverse diving experiences. Bill’s easygoing style
makes learning fun for his students.
Bill’s current diving goal is to dive more in 2006 than he did
in 2005. He recently purchased a boat and is in the process of
setting it up for diving. Although Bill doesn’t really have a
favorite dive location, he does manage to find something special
every place he dives.
The webmaster and IT guru is Joe Farag.
